• How do I apply to enter the Ride?
Most rider places will be filled by invitations issued jointly by the organisers and the teams. However, there may be some unfilled places and one of these can be applied for by completing and submitting this form to the organisers.

It is the organisers’ prerogative to determine whether a place is offered and on which team.

• When is the Ride?
Friday 10th to Sunday 12th September 2021

• How far do we ride?
Around 260km over 1.5 days. On the first day of riding, you will ride around 160km.

• What about sleeping and meals?
Accommodation on each of the two nights will be in comfortable furnished apartments. Each apartment used on the second night will have laundry facilities allowing for cycling apparel to be washed. Dinner on both nights and substantial snacks at the end of each riding leg will be provided.

• What support will be provided during the riding days?
An experienced rider leading the peloton, a medic, a bike mechanic and support vehicles leading and following the peloton

• How much does it cost?
Riders pay a registration fee of $550. This covers the cost of the accommodation, cycling apparel, bike transport to Busselton and ancillary other costs. Other necessary services have been kindly donated.

• How do I raise funds?
The main objective of the Ride is to raise funds to be donated to refuges supporting women and children experiencing or at risk of experiencing family and domestic violence. Riders and the teams that they’re members of are expected to apply themselves to meeting this objective.

Once the organisers have entered you into the Ride, you will receive your own fund-raising link that you can share through your networks via social media or email.

We encourage you to check with your employer whether it has a Matched Giving program whereby your employer will match the value of the donations that you receive.

• Are donations tax-deductible?
All donations over $2 are tax-deductible and tax receipts will be provided to your donors for their tax records.

• Can a donor donate other than through the donation portal using a card?
Yes, donations exceeding $50 may be paid by electronic funds transfer to:

• Where does the money go?
To refuges that are registered charities and that provide family and domestic violence related services in Western Australia for no charge to their clients
